NorthShore University HealthSystem's Department of Interventional Radiology provides therapeutic and diagnostic treatments utilizing state of the art, minimally invasive techniques with image guidance. Our Interventional Radiology Department achieves excellence in patient care by utilizing a team approach that includes experts from many fields. These specialties include orthopedics, gynecology, oncology, vascular surgery, neurosurgery, urology and nephrology.
NorthShore University HealthSystem's board certified interventional radiologists are specialists skilled in procedures such as vertebroplasty, uterine fibroid embolization, radiofrequency tumor ablation therapy, and many others. Our physicians are able to provide many of these services at multiple facilities within the organization. These sites include Evanston Hospital, Glenbrook Hospital and Highland Park Hospital.
