In the 12 years since the NorthShore University HealthSystem (NorthShore) Research Institute was founded, we have made extraordinary technological strides in healthcare. Through these gains, our patients now have access to better drugs, treatments and procedures. Our growth has resulted in NorthShore Research Institute to the ninth-ranked comprehensive, independent research hospital in the United States, up from an initial ranking of 65, by the National Institutes of Health.
