Our team of primary care physicians work in collaboration with you to help provide comprehensive health care services to your entire family—from birth through end of life. Our primary care services are comprised of:
Choosing a primary care physician and scheduling regular visits is a very important step to maintaining your overall health and wellness. Your primary care physician provides preventative care services and health screenings, serves as your main point of contact for any health questions and concerns, and evaluates your medical issues and refers you to additional specialists as needed.
Advanced Practice Providers, or APPs, also treat patients throughout the NorthShore system. APPs are medical providers (Physician Assistants or Nurse Practitioners) who are trained and educated similarly to physicians. APPs work in all areas of hospitals and clinics treating patients in the emergency room, immediate care centers and routine office visits. All APPs are supervised by a doctor and can diagnose conditions, prescribe medications, order and interpret tests. APPs are trusted medical professionals who work hand-in-hand with physicians to create a seamless environment of care.
